ART & CONNECTION
Creative activities can offer expression , engagement and a sense of accomplishment.

ART WITH A PURPOSE
The Loon Project began as a way to stay connected through art, caregiving and dementia. Somewhere along the way , it became something bigger - a place for creativity, comfort and purpose.
MOR THAN A SHOP
Every piece I make, find or share through The Loon Project is tied back to the reason this started: finding connection and meaning in the middle of caregiving. Your Purchases help me continue creating while supporting a larger missing centered around dementia, art and improving everyday life.

Dementia has touched every known generation of my family. When my moms disease progressed, I started The Loon Project as a way to reconnect with her through art - and with the hope that maybe I could somehow make a difference.
But caregiving changed me too. Somewhere along the way. Anxiety, exhaustion and responsibility swallowed up the parts of myself that gave me peace.
Art gave some of that back.
Wat started as a project for my mom slowly became a project for me too. And today, The Loon Project has grown into a collection of original art, clothing, hats and things I simply find and love - all rooted in creativity the outdoors and the belief that small things can still have meaning.

THE IMPACT
The Loon Project will always be connected to dementia. A portion of what this project creates is used to support causes and ideas that help people and families affected by dementia - from research to meaningful daily-life experiences.
Creative activities can offer expression , engagement and a sense of accomplishment.
I want this project to help create small moments of comfort, joy and connection for people living with dementia.
The project continues to support dementia-related causes as it grows.
