For my son, it was the excitement of seeing one of his favorite animals. For me, it was the gift of watching my mom share in that excitement.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAs dementia changes so much about the person you love, you learn to appreciate the moments that don't require perfect memories, conversations, or even words.
